It has taken me a few days to write something about my dear longtime friend Allan Myers. We were friends for over 40 years. We shared life stories and educated each other in the world of gambling chip collecting. Allan meant a great deal to me. He will forever live in my heart and pleasant thoughts. Diane was a welcome sight at all the chip conventions and the many hours spent together heightened my Las Vegas experience. All the time spent together brings me cheerful memories. I was able to view the funeral over the web and learned many new wonderful things about the quality of Allan's life. Rest in Peace, my dear friend.

I was able to video interview a few gambling chip pioneers at the first chip convention in 1993. Allan was one of three authors of The Chip Rack and the Gaming Table. Here are all three authors in an old interview with Allan in the middle.
