From Steve Piccolo - A/C Historian

Steve wrote a history of Atlantic City back in the day on the Prodigy website.
Part Seven was all about Trump's Casino Hotels.

"Trump purchased the then closed Playboy/Atlantis casino hotel in 1989 and ran the place as the non-casino hotel named Trump Regency. In 1996, the casino was re-opened and the name changed to the Trump World’s Fair casino operating as an arm of Trump Plaza."

Hope this helps,
Dennis
