I joined this club originally for two reasons: (1) I wanted to help support the hobby; and (2) the magazine. I had not and still have not made it to a convention, so that was the primary benefit for me. So, I don't think you can convince me that the magazine is not a reason why anyone joins the club. It may not be for you, or even the majority of members, but I believe it is important to a significant number of members, and, if made available to anyone, we would, once again, lose a chunk of the membership. Others may disagree, but I really don't see how giving away the magazine would increase the membership. If anyone has any support for the idea that membership would increase, I would be more that willing to consider it and keep my mind open.
