I have been asked: What is the ChipGuide worth? My response was to calculate the number of casinos and items on the ChipGuide and to figure how much time went into creating the programs, database and content of the ChipGuide. The result was in the millions of dollars. Yes, if someone wanted to create their own ChipGuide it would cost millions of dollars to do it. I put no value on the content (the pictures and descriptions) just the cost, in labor, to put them on the website. What the ChipGuide is worth comes down to what someone would be willing to pay for it. While I am told that the hobby finds the ChipGuide a valuable resource tool, I do not see any potential buyers for it, certainly no one willing to pay what it cost to build it.
