Chip News from the trip

Oneida Green Bay: None of the new $5, supposedly larger logo chips, according to the cage, have been seen. I'll be checking again in November. Plenty of new 50¢ and $1 chips. Casino says none of the higher denominations were re-ordered.

Mole Lake: (in case it got lost in the other news) No table games, no chips, the only Blackjack is an electronic version in the bar/sports book. Restaurant is closed for remodeling, will become a Mexican Cafe' 🤪

Carter: many machines were down in the conversion. Players club merge with Milwaukee. Electronic 21 was on but being serviced. Roulette - electronic was gone because of machine issues. My guess is, not enough play to pay the cost of leasing it? Live table, 21 minimum $10 and three card poker, $5 a spot. Even on a busy Saturday night, just those two tables.

The new cards are identical to the old ones, but everyone must get a new card for the new system.

Issues with the new system, include, if you don't interact for a period of 60 seconds, your card is deemed abandoned and you have to go back to the players booth, which sometimes had a line going to the back door. A big win, the machine would time out. They are "working on that".

Good thing we got a room with the patio, on the first floor, so Valerie could go out and have a smoke. vbg

Typical Winter in WI, even though it's March/April. 8" overnight. Surprise!
