This was a famous intersection back in the day. Seen in the distance is the Melrose Hotel known to have poker chips issued here, see The Chip Guide for chip scans and order cards.
After a short visit we drove down the street to Barstow's 1st Del Taco, not the original, that is in Yermo Calif. I showed him a shortcut from there back to Las Vegas. Hope he didn't get lost.
