Postcards for Today 3 from Reno

I was killing time yesterday and stopped at my favorite "antique" shop, who turns out has become a postcard shop, as a specialty niche. I see the same guy at all the auctions. When I ask he's the one who says, "Who brings home a postcard from Las Vegas?" I've mentioned the rack cards and tourism of old.

I went through his "Nevada" cards yesterday, maybe 20 and that's all. Five nice ones for me, I skipped two others. Not showing, Last Frontier Pool Postmarked 1952 and Cal-Nev Lake Tahoe. Similar vintage as the rest, probably late 40s.

By postmark order, 1947, 1952 and unused. I think they are all late 40s by the cars.

Between card 2, which looks older? The Northern Club 1939-1941 (puts that card in that range), turned into the Bonanza 1944-1952, and The Silver Dollar, became the Clover club. Golden Club and the Bank Club got bigger entrances and bigger signs on those.

Does anyone know what the casino was, between Northern Club and Bonanza? That would be about 1941 to 1944 somewhere? I searched and it looks like Barn Club fits and at the same address.

Sure was some turnover in casinos.
