Great sleuthing

I recently did a little research on those inlaid chips recently when I uploaded the USPC Co. order record to the ChipGuide.

In the newspaper databanks, all I could find at the time was reference to a "Dilger & Burke Pool Hall", which seemed to match the chips.

This is from 1916;

Apparently there was more than one Dilger & Burke Pool Hall in Fellows. Maybe Dilger & Burke was the company name, and their individual pool halls had more specific names.

Also, they did at least occaisionally have card playing. The is from 1917;

Maybe they pulled out the poker chips after the society ladies left. I will update the ChipGuide, with mention of that one of their pool halls was called the "Eagle Pool Hall". By the way Roy, from where did you find the 1913 order date. The order record that you posted does not have a date?
