for sale for trade 2 of the most vulnerable areas (IVORY)

~~~ for a chip to fracture and eventually crack are in the central nerve area and anywhere along the outer ring(s) on the rim which, in the rim area case, is obvious in rough play... and, that, according to Kenny Craig; was due to poor American craftsmanship in the turning of Ivory chips with rim rings which could have been too deep along with definitely being in the same location on both sides and same distance from the edge.
Here are two wide rim Tigers with fractures in the ring area which have not changed in the last 28 years. Note, that these ring fractures are sometimes covered up by filling them in with putty which can go undetected during an inspection until the filling dries, shrinks and falls out leaving the fracture open to further damage.
...and here are fractures extending outward from the nervehole. This pair is available for $20, shipped.
These chips are available for $115 for the lot.
...and here is my last narrow rim Tiger without any fractures which is available for $600, the same price I sold the last few here for...
The 2 fractured wide rim Tiger chips are available for $400 each... also at the same level the last few sold for -- or, I am willing to trade any of my last 3 Tigers for Mother-of-Pearl plaques....
End of story... grin
