and there is no Hollywood Bit & Spur Club near Ventura Blvd. Guess the land became too valuable for riding parties. Wonder if Sportsman's Lodge came in beside Ventura and the L. A. River where the horses were? Or the Harvard Westlake private school up the hill from Ventura?
