Was a short-lived gaming operation between 1885 and 1887...

Willing to trade my duplicate 5-pc. set for higher denoms in the series... or the 2.50, 50 or 100 for any other denom below the 100; excluding the 2.50 or 50. Open to other proposals, too.

This ovale "37" should not be confused with an ovale "57" about.

These five pieces along with a few others were part of the Victor GADOURY offering in 1990, and turned up on eBay 2 or 3 years ago... Not really rare, either, except for the pieces in their original state of preservation... Where this inventory has been hiding is unknown, too, since none of the inventory was found in the Briotet/Caro Collection and, only a few pieces have turned up in an auction or two; one being in 2017 where a 1000F ("18") was sold in a P&P sale which was featured in Seymour's and a couple ovale pieces in France, which have edge damage and not visible in the photos...
