The Astro was Geno Munari's place. I believe after Cowboy Gene's he tried to open the Astro. I talked to him once about it, I was going to try and write an article on planned but never opened Vegas casinos. He really didn't want to talk about it. He had a lot to say about the Dune and the Imperial Palace and few other places he worked. Very interesting stories from a very interesting guy! He has (or had, can't seems to find it now) an internet radio station where he talks old Vegas history and gaming tips and strategies. Recently he started a new web blog type page...
