Michael... Could be the same, because...
In Response To: I have heard... ()

I received this chip over 10 years ago, from my friend and well known chipper, the late, Jim Episale of Barnegat, NJ. Jim liked to collect illegals in and around New Jersey and New York, as well as Atlantic City casino and illegals chips.

The chip has been a UFC to me and I know that Jim had it in his Bargain Box. That Bargain Box has an interesting story, and memory for me. In the years that Jim ventured to Nevada, for the annual CCA Convention as a Dealer and active member (he always attended the Club's Business Meetings), he would lug that heavy Bargain Bin tub and the PVC pipes he used to prop-up his Unshredded Nostalgia banner. On one visit, more than 10 years ago, Jim asked me if he could leave his Bargain Bin tub and PVC pipes with Pam and I to store until the following year.

That was an easy Yes, and for years I would bring his stuff to the Show and return it to my garage when the Show was over. It was Jim's idea to give "rent" by gifting me a chip or two from the Bin. On one occasion, the gifted rent payment was HS-Gold fox chip.

Sure miss Jim Episale. But always good memories, especially going to New Jersey to witness Jim and Barbara's seaside Wedding.

Jim
