Please say a prayer to my Dear oldest brother who’s about to pass away in a care home . Earl is my oldest brother and first sibling to pass away . He being the second oldest but oldest of us four brothers was the leader of the pack when we grew up . We did things what boys do but nothing law breaking while growing up . He is ten years older than me but I remember from a very young age all the adventures majority good but some naughty ones . Earl was a clever funny big brother . Our stomping grounds was three houses away from Cartwright field where the Lunalilo freeway runs through now . We frequently visited Cartwright field , Lunalilo playground , MO Lee store , Palace theater , Ala Moana Center and our family place to hang out was Ala Moana Beach park . Also all those small moms and pops store on Keeaumoku and Piikoi Street . We lived there till 1965 when we moved to Kaneohe because our rented house and all our neighbors on Lunalilo Street had to move because the freeway was coming through . Fun memories of growing up in for me from when I was born till now . It’s really frustrating knowing my dear big brother will pass soon . Please pray for Earl on his next journey to the next life and for me and my family .
