Atlantic City Club - October 2022 Newsletter

Hello Atlantic City Chippers,

Question of the Day - Poll
There is a good chance that the ACCCC could have a meeting in November 2022. Possible dates are
November 20th, 27th or December 4th. It would be at the Claridge Hotel, the cost to the club would be $300.00.
Parking is $20.00 per vehicle and no food or drink may be brought into the venue. Are you going to attend?
The Omicron strains of Covid-19 are on the rise in the South Jersey Area. Organizations here are canceling their
regular meetings. I have been getting calls, texts, emails asking when's our next meeting. I'm also asked if the
club is still alive. I certainly don't want to set a date and have six people or less attend. Nor do I want to waste
$300.00 specially since we haven't collected any money in two years. So, the question remains:

· Are you going to attend, or should I wait and schedule for early/late spring?

· Club Members please advise us to your thoughts. Call, text, or email Marc Maahs or Charles Kaplan.

Trivia Question: Pai Gow is a Chinese Gambling game played with Chinese Dominoes. It is played in major
casinos across the United States including Las Vegas, Nevada and Atlantic City, New Jersey. The game dates
to at least the Song Dynasty. The name "pai gow" is loosely translated as "make nine" or " card nine".
The question is: How many Dominoes completes this Pai Gow Game? 1) 28, 2) 30, 3) 32, 4) 33, 5) 39
