Just to follow up on Richard's ashtray from earlier today. Awesome ashtray by the way and thank you Pam for your phone book collection, invaluable!! Note the 1st cover, definitely from the 50's with the 4-digit phone number 5657, Richard's tray is a little later with the alpha numeric number, FA 3-5657, also note the name "Tilly" on the spine and the neat graphic of the front facade. Next a much later cover from Red's Zanzibar (1983-2006) same address and since torn down according to Phil's input.
Always great learning about the history behind my collection. The main reason I check on the chipboard daily!!
