The responsibility for scheduling AC Club meetings is with the club president who is out of town for another week or so. Previously he was given leads and contacts at several AC casinos. He followed up on each lead, but none of the casinos responded. The AC casinos are not giving the club a break on a room. We previously got rooms for free and then had to pay $250+ for a room. Now the only offers we get are for well over $1000. We barely break even on a meeting to cover the room rental of $250, so $1000 is out of the question. And FYI, many club members have stated that they would not attend a club meeting if it was not held on the boardwalk. Any suggestions?
