~~~ reflection of some sort and, is that "chip" set in the bezel high enough where you can see and feel the edge where if it is a decal; can be easilly lifted and peeled away or is it recessed?

The numeral and dollar symbols on both have a very slight, raised relief. There is no wearing, as these are printed images. Those printed images are stickered and set in place and then, appear to be coated with a clear substance that flows over the bezel, because I cannot insert a very thin needle between the edge of the sticker and the bezel. The needle point just smoothly glides over the inner edge of the bezel.
