Caesars had been developing this property by themselves for the past two or three years... they recently announced a delay in opening from mid 2023 to mid 2024 and financing was said to be part of the reason... so it makes sense they would bring on a partner to share the cost and the risk... the Danville Caesars Casino is being built at the former headquarters of the Dan River Mills Textile Company.
