Keeping the chips in the family.

It's nice to see after a lifetime of collection that the collection remains in the family...

I was talking with a friend and telling him that I know of a few families who were (and still are) in the casino industry where some of those collections have moved on to the third generation and, within a few families; very few outside of the family know of the collection.

Kind of makes one wonder how some chips such as JOSEPHINE wound up in an auction house and described as "Bone" and not Ivory with only one Ivory collector present and no bids, compared to some auctions where collectors have traveled cross country to be in the live action... and, though there are sleepers in many auctions, one would think a famous family name would attract....

I still say that one chip remained with JOSEPHINE...
