Boot Fairs 'car boots' -- an art in unloading stuf

I remember some chippers who worked these about 30 years ago telling me that they start selling early in the morning and leave about noon with most everything they brought, sold.

The skill was in selling low enough in order to make room to comb the countryside during the week to return the following weekend. Back then they were mostly to the north.
