I would say both should be posted in the guide.

In my silver token collection I like to have tokens that are normal, rotated or coin/medal aligned. Same thinking if there is different writing on the outer edge you can not see without having it in hand or nice pictures.

Example: Danny's Slot Country - you would not know there was most likely a re order if not the differences on the outer rim.
