Absolutely Jim! This is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen. Those chips are some of the most common in the hobby and unless I’m wrong, I don’t think any of them would normally sell for more than $15 to $20 bucks.
Our hobby is a tactile one and if I can’t touch or hold the Chip, then what’s the point really?
It seems that these are, at the end of the day, just a put on to make people believe that a common chip is worth more because it’s behind plastic.
