CCA Presidency Nomination | Thank You!

Thank you to everyone that nominated me, I truly appreciate it! It's something that I probably would have never expected to happen this year and it's been amazing to see the support I have behind me. Even from the videos and all the other things I do, I never really understand how many people are out there.

There are many things I'd love to implement in the future with the CCA. There are things I've noticed myself that could be changed and many ways that I believe the CCA could grow across the US and the world. Many of you know that I am younger than many who enjoy collecting casino memorabilia and I only know a few others that are around the same age as myself. With that in mind I'd like to try and get more younger people to join. It could be something that they do on the sides as more of a hobby (which I believe that many of us do), but you never know how many would really enjoy collecting and learning about the stuff we do. I know that is how I got started and the main idea behind me collecting is to learn about the history and have historical artifacts in my collection, majority of them being chips. With the power of social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and others) it would also be possible to increase membership, spread the word about the CCA to people that you probably would have never expected to reach. The way algorithms work now a days is so interesting and it only take a few of the right likes or comments to get onto someone else's "for you page" or homepage for them to see something that might interest them. On top of all this, I would like to hopefully create some sort of education system that could teach people about the history of these casinos as I have done, but of the chips too. What companies have created what, how the chips were made and the fun behind the scenes stuff. Surely chips are still made today, but it was so different when places like TR King, Paulson, Bud Jones, Mason & Co., Taylor & Co. and more were open where you had the possibility to go in store and buy chips directly. I've heard a few different stories from people going into these stores and seeing these amazing chips and either buying right then and there or ordering a custom chip set. I would have been in some big trouble if I could do that...

That's what I'd hopefully like to do, I know that it does take time and I would be doing all of this on side from school and work. I've seen the work that others put into this and it is remarkable.

I hope everyone has been doing well and talk to you guys soon!
