What are the odds

That one story of the alligator door openers falls off into Jim's hand seems odd to me. I am sure there are at least two bolts holding the handle in the door.
Orleans has a lot of staff to make sure their casino is maintained at a high level and for the door opener to happens to fall off in Jim's had is remarkable.
Then for Jim to walk into the parking lot and approach a group of drunk visitors and they just happen to have two Alligator door openers.
I would think that security would have seen them stealing the door openers and why would a group of drunk people bring tools to remove the door handles?
What are the odds that Jim just happened to be there at that moment to convince them to give to Jim that clearly is not an employee and the guys would just hand the door openers to him.

The odds of both of these stores being true must be pretty high?

I am not saying his story is not true but the odds must be pretty high against one person just happening to get two shots for the alligator door openers?
