John - I figured the chips you talked about.......

.......were from Lucayan Beach !! I only have the Anchor and Sailfish designs - so there are now 2 more designs I need for my collection !!

One of my basic goals in collecting Roulette chips is to get at least "one" chip from every known design, number or letter that was used or made. This can be very challenging for many Casinos as is the case with the Lucayan Beach Roulettes.

Often some Roulette tables are almost never open - or the Casino is so far out of the way no one ever gets the chance to "harvest" the chips before they are are removed from the tables - or they are back-up chips that are never put in play - or they are destroyed for some reason.

Many times the chips are not available until the Casino closes - or you can only get them directly from a casino owner/employee - or the chip manufacturer - or one of their representatives. I have gotten chips from all these sources over the years that I could not have gotten off the Tables.

I would love to know how these chips ended up in Argentina - that would be quite a story.

Nice find !!

Take care,
Jerry
