Mr. Burgel was not exonerated of his Code of Ethics violation. Mr. Vergatos is confusing another incident that happened many years ago. In that incident a collector had purchased a rare Atlantic City chip that they thought was counterfeit because the inserts were painted on. NJ Gaming Control has very strict laws about casino chips used in NJ casinos and inserts cannot be painted on. Much later is was thought that the chip might be a manufacturer's sample instead of a counterfeit. Apologies were made over the incident. But, Mr. Burgel did in fact violate the ChipGuide Usage Policy by using ChipGuide images on his eBay auctions and was in fact found guilty in a Code of Ethics claim against him. If Mr. Burgel was exonerated, then it is news to me. Is the claimant, I think that I should have been informed.
