Is it at the bottom?

Without seeing your screen and assuming you're talking about the Windows Taskbar, I can only guess that the update caused the list/taskbar to return to its default location at the bottom of the screen. If that's the case, you should be able to drag the taskbar from the bottom of the screen to the right side.

If that doesn't work, perhaps the taskbar is locked in place. Try right-clicking on a blank part of the taskbar, and find the "lock taskbar" option. If there is a checkmark beside that, click it to unlock the taskbar, and then try dragging the taskbar from bottom to the right side of your screen.
