I took this photo around 1970 only a few years after the Riverside opened. The only other places
were the Monte Carlo and Odie Lopp's Nevada Club. The place was still called South Point. Don
Laughlin previously owned the 101 in North LV. I remember having to squeeze between a wall
and the crap table to get to the restroom. The bartender's name was Barney Oldfield. There were
only a few slots.
