A number of casinos issued chips for specific sports and activities. Casinos would have those personalities at their casino and do signings.

Fiesta/Four Queens did a boxing one:

Off the top of my head, there were several others: First Ladies of Baseball, Playboy Playmates, and many others. Those are pretty easy to validate as legit.

My comment was concerning a person walking around, seeing a celebrity and having them sign a chip. This is what I meant:
