That's right Riker Mount is one kind

I'm sure people use the name in a generic sense but...

"A Riker mount is a flat container used for mounting a specimen on cotton wool or other backing material, often with transparent glass or plastic cover as protection. It is named after Albert Joyce Riker, noted American plant pathologist."

I got some at an auction, probably over paid, as they had common foreign coins inside. I just wanted the cases.
