I went to the former Dover Downs Racetrack and Casino in Dover , Delaware yesterday to pick up the "New" Rack of chips from Bally's who took over the casino operation back in November.
The new Bally's chips were put on the tables on December 23, 2021. I was not able to get up to the Casino until yesterday due to the Holidays and a sore back (working to hard around the house ).
Shown below are the New chips from $1 thru $1000. These are Paulson style alternating direction H&C Mold chips with a plastic center inlay I "borrowed" the $100, $500 and $1000 chips to take pictures of the for the Chip Guide and quickly returned them to the cage. The $500 and $1000 are both oversized with the $1000 being larger than the $500 - I am not sure of the exact size of the chips but would guess 41mm on the $500 and 43mm on the $1000.
Not much info on these chips as they only have the value, Bally's "B" Logo and "Dover" on the chips - no mention of Delaware ???
I have some of the $1.00, $2.50, $5.00 and $25.00 chips for sale. Prices are as follows
$1.00 = $3.00
$2.50 = $5.00
$5.00 = $8.00
$25.00 = $30.00
These chips are in "Like New" condition but may have scratches to the plastic inlays and slight soiling as they have been in play for 5 or 6 days.
