The Majestic Star closed last fall and most of the employees, and some of the equipment was transferred to the new Hard Rock in Gary Indiana. This summer my husband and I had the opportunity to go through the Majestic Star’s pavilion, though we weren’t allowed to go onto the boat. I saw this small table top Christmas tree and said “look honey, it’s a Charlie Brown Christmas tree!” The guard who was giving us the tour told me that I was welcome to take the decorated tree…a unique souvenir from a closed casino. 😊
