I built these a couple years ago and I believe the material cost including lights was less than $30.00 each. I tried putting the glass in plain frames and was not satisfied with the look. I came up with this design with back lighting and it made the glass stand out much better. Good luck with your glass project. I am sure material cost have increased to close to $50.00 each by now.
