I did not actually unlock the Ipod. It was available but since I was not the authorized owner it did not show any of the songs when I opened it. To see the hidden songs I searched and just put in . (period) and searched. It then found all of the songs and I was able to copy and paste them into another folder. But that Ipod was used with a windows pc not an apple like the other one.

I have found a program called macdrive 10 that claims it can do the conversion. It has a five day free trial so I will use it over Xmas when I am at my daughters house since she uses Apple computers. Time will tell if it works. I sure hope it does since there are 1300 songs on that Ipod.
