When the actual mesh netting was used in chip ~~~

~~~ construction at BG and set under the protective layer on both sides... it was known as "Tulle" (still is)... and as time progressed they moved on to using a litho layer of the netting on both sides and, of course; the graphic layers and as many as 15 layers of laminate were used later on in time with plaque construction.

Usually referred to a "snakeskin" by some collectors...
