It has been almost 11 months since my Grandson Gavin was paralyzed from the chest down in a snowboarding accident. He has continued to do therapy several times a week. He has also returned to school 4 days a week.
A few days ago he was actually able to move his legs !! If you follow the links below you can see a short video of Gavin moving his legs as he sits on a table at the rehab facility. He actually had moved his legs a couple of times before my son Damian captured the movement on video. You can see the effort that he is exerting as he tries to move his legs.
We are truly thankful for Gavin's progress, but there is still a long way to go. The Birl family appreciates your continued concern, thoughts and prayers.
