Their artwork certainly was of the highest level.

It was just difficult to grasp how old-world casino charm bought into the product and easilly to understand how it happened in the US.

Really just looking at it on an industry level and nothing more... grin

It was a total shocker to me to see Club Royale go with the product on their second operation... it just did nothing for me and I even mentioned to John at a 1994 trade show at MGM that dealers in Trouville were not too happy in dealing the plaques which I had mentioned would asilly break.

I also showed him at the show some Bled (casino) product that I thought were his and his response was "I didn't make those" (archived here)... which I was told were made in Eastern Europe and noted in Howdy's auction №16. Though I know the majority from Bled were CHIPCO International.
