Road Trip - Needles California?

Woke up to a beautiful sunny day here in Las Vegas about 80° …. I said I got to go on a day road trip adventure …I love driving through the desert it’s my therapy I can clean out my mind … put on my music from the 70s and let the Wind blow in my hair ….

anyway the town of Needles Ca. use to be a transportation hub for the railroads and the agriculture industry in the Mojave Desert area of the Colorado river basin. interstate I 40 put a lot of businesses on route 66 out of business …. I got to visit the Harvey house train station also they have a small museum downtown and a couple of thrift stores which I found a few items. they have a very nice diner type restaurant called the “wagon wheel” with comfort food galore …. here are some pictures for you to look at I hope you enjoy and if you ever get a chance get off the freeway and go moseying around downtown Needles California
