I am not saying it is bad. It isn't bad. Fatburger is just that, same with Subway. Starbucks is fine, Panda is fine, didn't try the wing place.

The Italian place (Pasta Cucina) is not high-end, it is middle end - Yelp gives it 3.5 stars, and so do I. I have not been to their new coffee shop since they refurb'd it to the "Brass Fork" concept. I've been to the Palace Station Brass Fork and it was fine. But eggs are eggs.

The Sonoma Cellar is another thing. Last time I was there they overcooked my steak so badly that I had to send it back. Medium rare to well done. Not even close. I looked at it and said "you are kidding me right...." I didn't have to touch it to see how badly it was done, it shouldn't have made it past the chef, expediter, or waiter. I've had some decent meals there, this was not one of them.

Oyster Bar is a quick little place for some chowder, or something light. I've always had great service and a decent meal. So that is my usual go-to spot when I am on my own here.
