Bill Borland sold chips on the Weave/Roman mold from the mid-1980s until around 1991 through his Las Vegas outfit, World Wide Casino Exchange.

The font and design on your chip seems very similar to many others that he sold. From what I understand, Borland sold many of his chips to casino industry workers. For many years he was prominent casino host at the Dunes Hotel Casino.

I would have guessed that your chip is one of his personal/fantasy chips, but it appears notched and I can think of no reason why a personal/fantasy chip would ever get notched like that.
