THE DICE ARE ONE PAIR OF EITHER 2 OR 3 KNOWN PAIRS THAT SURFACED YEARS AGO. THEY WILL BE IN THE 2022 BOOK BY JOHN BITTEL, A GUIDE TO COLLECTING CASINO DICE AND WILL BE RATED R-12. BOOK VAULE $400 PLUS.

5 DIFFERENT ASHTRAYS, ALL NEAR MINT TO MINT. THE RAREST AND MOST COLORFUL IS THE GOLDEN ROOSTER WHICH WAS LOCATED IN THE CASINO, EXTREMELY RARE, ONLY ONE I HAVE EVER SAW. CIRCA 1960'S.

THE PEN AND PENCIL SET, EXTREMELY SCARCE, FEATURES DICK GRAVE'S NUGGET AND THE 1960 WINTER OLYMPICS, WHICH WERE HELD AT SQUAW VALLEY, CALIFORNIA IN 1960. OFFICIALLY KNOWN AS THE VIII OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES. THERE WERE ATHLETES FROM 30 NATIONS, COMPETING IN FOUR SPORTS AND 27 EVENTS. BIATHALON AND WOMEN'S SPEED SKATING MADE THEIR OLYMPIC DEBUTS.

WALT DISNEY HAD AN INTEREST IN SKIING, HE BROUGHT THE TALENT OF THE DISNEY CAST TO BEAR AND CREATE AN OLYMPIC TORCH, WHOSE DESIGN HAS BEEN THE BASIS OF EVERY NEW DESIGN SINCE. DISNEY BROUGHT IN ENTERTAINMENT, BANDS, PAGEANTRY, SECURITY, CREATED THE IDEA OF OFFICIAL SPONSORS OF THE GAMES, STATRED THE CONCEPT OF A GROUP OF FLAG POLES FOR ALL THE NATIONS BEING REPRESENTED, AND OFFERED A FILM FESTIVAL FOR THE ATHLETES EVENING ENTERTAINMENT.

LASTLY, DESPITE SQUAW VALLEY, CALIFORNIA ONLY HAVING ONE MOTEL WITH 55 ROOMS, IT BEAT OUT RENO, NEVADA TO HOST THE WINTER OLYMPICS THAT YEAR.
