Chip colors

While Playing poker last night I sat next to a guy who claimed that a "white chip" is always $1, and red chip is always $5.00, and green is ALWAYS 25.00. When I disagreed, he got belligerent, claiming he spent 30 years in the casino business, and knows what he's talking about. Then snaps at me "how long have you been in the casino business." I simply responded Long enough to tell you that Las Vegas has seen mustard colored $5.00 chips, and all sorts of various colors of all denominations. Now comes the fun part. He insists that I know nothing. I then tell that I'm totally sure that a major strip casino has used mustard yellow 5.00 chips as the standard house chips. I'll bet you 25.00. He accepts, and I proceed to pull up the Stardust chip scan of the mustard HHR $5 chip from the chipguide.com. Cha-ching.

Icing on the cake... the very next hand I am dealt pocket KK. Everyone folds before me, and I tell the guy "here's your chance to get your chip back, and I raise to 25.00 using the green chip I just won from him. This pissed him off, and he goes all in for $125.00 with pocket 5s. I win... he leaves...and I lived happily ever after. The end.
