Hi to all,

I wish to thank all my fellow Club Members and Friends for the enormous amount of Cards, Texts, Emails, Flowers, and Posts that I received. Your kind words and prayers are what pulled me through this crazy time.

Rich Burgel did a great job as my acting press secretary informing everyone on the Message boards of my conditioning status.

I was lucky to have been vaccinated back in January for the regular flu and the Phizer Covid vaccine in March. Otherwise, I would not be around today. I was diagnosed with Covid 19, Phuemnomia, and Influenza b after the convention.

I left Las Vegas on the Monday after the convention headed for home and then returned to Las Vegas four days later for the Silver Strikers Convention at the 4 queens. My symptoms started that Monday after that convention. I went to the emergency room as soon as I got back home and was informed of all my issues. All this was exacerbated by my exhaustion and low resistance. I was admitted immediately into the hospital with IVs in my arms for 8 days. I was close to being hooked to a breathing machine but luckily that wasn't necessary.

Never the less I am on the mend and getting stronger every day.

I have informed the CCA Board that I am able to resume my duties and responsibilities and will be engaging as soon as I am brought up to speed on all our issues.

In parting, I would strongly urge all of you that are not vaccinated to strongly consider doing so. You do not want to go through what I had to. It scared the hell out of me and my family.
