I had a neat job as an Air Courier, would fly for free to major cities in Europe RT, spend 5-10 days (at my own expense) and travel anywhere I wanted. went to the Oostende casino, have a beautiful colorful ashtray somewhere. Not a chip collector then (darn). But I remember looking out at the sea, across from the beach. I Played BJ and 3-4 people could place bets around my bet at the table they would stand behind me and if I won they won. (crazy hard to figure out who placed which bets).
