Hey All,

Does anyone have any experience with 3D printers for making collectibles stands? I've been toying with the idea since I turned a spare bedroom into a mini-museum. I'm always looking for things for displaying pens, key rings, ashtrays, etc.

I took a mechanical drawing class in high school and I'm not afraid of computers, so I think learning a CAD program would be within my ability. I'm just curious if anyone else has tried this.
