So I was in the MDM 2-3 times as it was only open 6 weeks in 1974.
The $3.50 admission was a deterrent and I really only wanted the
tokens. The $250,000 machine had $10,000 chips in the hopper
and another had the jackpot (I think $5000) in ones in a drum
over the machine. I was in the crowd of several thousand people
watching the place burn one nite as Bob stood outside sobbing.
