Wow, Keith! Thanks for all the kind words...I'm so glad that you enjoy my posts! grin

Don't let our experiences discourage you from collecting dice...they're very cool, and it can be a lot of fun to collect them. But...before you buy any that are very old, or expensive, be aware of what could happen to them.

Newer dice don't have the problems that older dice have. Scientific types can tell you exactly what the old dice are made of and why the problems happen. I've read it, but don't remember the details. Not all of the old ones decompose...thank goodness! grin

Here's something that we bought...at first it bothered me that the dice were all glued together, then I realized that if they weren't glued, the dice probably would have disappeared, or at least the collection would have been broken up, and we wouldn't have them. I'm super grateful that none of these dice are showing signs of decomposing... grin
