I posted our new ashtray from the phone, and I wasn't about to type all this on the phone!!

We went to the big flea market in Rosemont, IL yesterday. That's where we bought the chips. The seller had several chips from Atlantic City and just 2 from Nevada. I suspected the Golden Nugget and the Tropicana were probably from Atlantic City (I think we've bought the same chips before...hoping they were from Las Vegas, they still aren't!! ). I was too lazy to look them up. Oh well. We also bought a couple of music CD's at the flea market. Pickin's were slim!!

We left the flea market and went to the Broadway Antique Market. I was a few feet behind my husband and I saw a clear glass item on a dresser...about eye level. It looked like it was shaped like a star. I picked it up (assuming that it was just clear glass), with the intention of saying "look honey, it's a star ashtray from the Mapes...and you walked right past it!". What I actually said was "look honey...oh my gosh!!! It really IS a star ashtray from the Mapes!!!! I thought I was just kidding!!!!" I'm glad I was going to tease my husband, or I might not have even picked it up!
