Quintuple Mystery Chip from London

I've had this chip for many years and have always found it fascinating even though I don't quite understand it. There's a lot going on.

First - It's a HC Edwards chip. Unusual for England. Non are listed in the ChipGuide for the Sportsman Club.
Second - It's dollars, not pounds.
Third - This chip has been hot stamped twice. The original, faint hot stamp reads "Craywood Twickenham £1"
Fourth - There's no listing for a Craywood in Twickenham.
Fifth - Craywood used Large Keys and H&Cs - not HCEs.

If anyone can shed some light. I'd love to hear it.

Pete
